I. Product Introduction
Silica sol is a colloidal solution that is odorless and non-toxic. Its molecular formula can be expressed as mSiO₂·nH₂O. Due to the extremely fine size of its colloidal particles (10–20 nm), silica sol boasts a remarkably large specific surface area. The particles themselves are colorless and transparent, so they do not affect the original color of the substrate being coated. Silica sol has low viscosity and can penetrate wherever water can penetrate; therefore, when mixed with other substances, it exhibits excellent dispersibility and permeability. As the water in the silica sol evaporates, the colloidal particles firmly adhere to the surface of the object, forming siloxane bonds between the particles, making it an outstanding adhesive.

III. Scope of Application
1. Used in a variety of coating applications, including metal mold coatings, zinc-rich self-curing coatings for rusted surfaces, waterproof coatings, imitation wall decoration coatings, high-temperature wear-resistant coatings for boiler flue gas ducts, water-soluble high-gloss porcelain coatings, silica sol-based steel bead coatings for walls, and high-temperature, wear-resistant, energy-saving coatings for metals.
2. Used as a binder for various refractory materials, it features strong bonding strength and high-temperature resistance (1500°C–1600°C).
3. When used for thin-shell precision casting, it can produce shells with high strength and excellent casting surface finish. Its molding quality is superior to that achieved using water glass; replacing ethyl silicate molding with this material can reduce costs and improve operating conditions.
4. Used in solid-state batteries for high-energy-density electric vehicles, composite architectural and decorative materials, artificial marble, and more.
4. Packaging
Packaging: 25 kg and 250 kg plastic drums. Customized packaging options available upon customer request. Storage: Transport and store in an environment with temperatures ranging from 0 to 40℃. Handle with care during handling and stacking to avoid impacts. Freezing and exposure to direct sunlight are strictly prohibited during transportation and storage.
The shelf life is one year from the date of manufacture; if the expiration date has passed, the product shall be retested to ensure it meets the requirements of this standard.
