Product Details
Sodium Methylsilicate Powder works by bonding with the substrate and blocking capillary pores, giving structures excellent anti-permeability. It is suitable not only for standard building waterproofing projects but also for infrastructure protection and functional building material treatment.
Application Scope
Building Waterproofing: Ideal for waterproofing and damp-proofing roofs, interior & exterior walls, basements, kitchens, and bathrooms.
Infrastructure Protection: Used in culverts, bridges, dams, and tunnels to reduce water erosion and prevent weathering.
Oil Well Cementing: Serves as an effective cementing agent for oil fields, enhancing wellbore sealing and stability.
Material Impregnation: Impregnating highly absorbent inorganic aggregates like perlite boards, roofing tiles, and insulation materials, providing significant waterproofing and damp-proofing effects.
Coating Additive: Used as an additive in latex paint, sodium silicate, and other coatings to impart remarkable water repellency, stain resistance, and stable binding strength.
Usage Guide
This product offers flexible application methods:
Waterproof Mortar/Concrete: Internal mixing ratio is 0.3%–0.5% by cement weight. Mix thoroughly with dry ingredients before adding water.
Surface Spraying: Dilute with 48 parts water and spray directly onto surfaces like concrete, bricks, or tiles for anti-seepage and damp-proofing treatment.
Safety & Packaging
This is a general chemical product. Wear protective gear like a mask during handling to avoid inhalation.
Keep dry during storage and transport. Suitable temperature range: -30℃ to 90℃.
Standard packaging: 25kg/bag. Shelf life: 12 months.
