High Hydrogen Silicone Oil(63148-57-2): High-Performance Water Repellent for Porous Substrates

2025-10-28

Our High Hydrogen Silicone Fluid is a reactive silicone oil characterized by its active hydrogen content. This colorless, transparent liquid cures at low temperatures with a catalyst to form a persistent waterproof barrier. It is extensively used as a waterproofing agent for textiles, a anti-fouling agent for ceramics, and a protective treatment for leather, paper, and other industrial materials. It effectively enhances fabric tear strength and abrasion resistance, making it a top choice for durable, high-performance surface protection.

Jiangxi Dakai's High Hydrogen Silicone Fluid is a highly reactive and versatile waterproofing agent. Its key feature is a high active hydrogen content (1.55-1.65%), which allows it to cross-link and form a durable, transparent, waterproof film on various substrates at low temperatures with a catalyst. It is particularly effective on porous materials like textiles, ceramics, and paper, providing excellent water and stain resistance while maintaining the substrate's breathability and original hand feel.

Key Advantages

1.High Reactivity: The 1.55-1.65% active hydrogen content ensures efficient low-temperature cure for rapid film formation.

2.Broad Substrate Compatibility: Excellent adhesion to rubber, textiles, glass, ceramics, paper, leather, and metal.

3.Durable Water Repellency (DWR): Forms a long-lasting film that effectively repels water and resists stains.

4.Breathable Protection: Maintains substrate breathability, which is critical for fabric comfort and functionality.

5.Performance Enhancement: Improves key fabric properties like tear strength and abrasion resistance.

Primary Applications

1.Textile Finishing: An ideal waterproofing agent for fabrics for outdoor apparel, tents, and awnings, providing durable water repellency (DWR) and enhanced durability.

2.Building Material Protection: Serves as an excellent anti-fouling agent for ceramics and a waterproofing agent for stone (marble, cement) surfaces.

3.Industrial Processing: Used as a release agent for paper, a waterproofing treatment for leather, and as an additive for silicone rubber processing and cross-linking.

4.Powder Treatment: Applied in general textile auxiliaries and powder treatment to impart hydrophobic properties.

Packaging & Storage
Packed in 200L plastic-coated steel drums or plastic drums (net weight 200KG/drum). Store in a cool, well-ventilated place (temperature below 30°C), away from ignition sources, heat, and oxidizers.
