I. Product Introduction
Methyl silicone oil, chemically known as polydimethylsiloxane, is a colorless and transparent novel synthetic polymer material. It comes in a variety of viscosities ranging from 5 cps to 2 million cps—ranging from highly fluid liquids to thick semi-solid substances.
This product features exceptional smoothness, softness, and water-repellency, along with excellent chemical stability, superior electrical insulation properties, and outstanding resistance to both high and low temperatures. It boasts a high flash point and a low freezing point, allowing for long-term use within the temperature range of -50°C to +200°C. Additionally, it exhibits a low viscosity-temperature coefficient, significant compressibility, minimal surface tension, and excellent water-repellent and moisture-proof characteristics, while maintaining a relatively low thermal conductivity.

III. Scope of Application
1. Daily Chemical Industry: This product can be used in a variety of cosmetic formulations, including skincare creams, shower gels, and shampoos. It delivers exceptional softening effects and provides a silky-smooth texture.
2. Industrial applications: Can be used as a mold release agent, release agent, and brightening agent in the production of certain rubber, plastic, latex, polyurethane products, and handicrafts.
3. Industrial Applications: Widely used in machinery, automotive, instrumentation, electronics, and other industries, serving as high-grade lubricants, hydraulic fluids, cutting fluids, buffer oils, transformer oils, high- and low-temperature brake fluids, brake oils, instrument damping oils, and mold release agents for frame molding applications.
4. Textile Industry: Used in the textile and apparel industries as softening agents, water-repellent treatments, finishing agents to enhance fabric hand feel, lubricants for sewing threads, lubricants for synthetic fiber spinnerets, and auxiliary agents for garment interlining applications.
5. Leather chemical industry: Used as softening agents, water-repellent treatments, feel-enhancing agents, defoamers, and polishing agents.
6. Pharmaceutical, Food, and Coating Industries: Used as defoamers, lubricants, weather-resistant coatings, and more in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical, coating, and building materials sectors.

IV. Application of Techniques
Depends on the specific application object and environment, with dosages ranging from a few PPM up to 100%.
V. Storage and Validity
1. This product is packaged in 5, 10, 25, or 50 kg polyethylene plastic drums, or in 200 kg iron drums.
2. This product should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place under normal temperature, avoiding contact with acidic or alkaline substances.
3. Store and transport as non-hazardous materials.
VI. Precautions
Contact with high-concentration strong acids or strong bases, as well as Lewis acids, tends to cause degradation and volatilization, with the reaction becoming more pronounced at higher temperatures. At lower concentrations, exposure to strong acids or strong bases—or prolonged exposure at elevated temperatures—can lead to an increase in viscosity, potentially resulting in cross-linking over time.
