DK-505 is an important basic raw material for processing sol-gel systems. It introduces an appropriate amount of organic functionality into the siloxane network, similar to the propyl groups present in the product. Typically used in conjunction with DK-505 (propyl triethoxysilane), it helps regulate the quantity of inorganic properties within the inorganic network structure. Its inclusion of propyl groups effectively enhances the organic characteristics of the final product.

III. Scope of Application
1. Used in various coating applications, including metal mold coatings, zinc-rich self-curing coatings for rusted surfaces, waterproof coatings, decorative wall-effect coatings, high-temperature wear-resistant coatings for boiler flue ducts, water-soluble high-gloss porcelain coatings, silica sol-based steel-bead coatings for wall surfaces, and high-temperature wear-resistant energy-saving coatings designed for metal applications.
2. Used as a binder for various refractory materials, it exhibits strong bonding strength and excellent high-temperature resistance (1500°C–1600°C).
3. Used for thin-shell precision casting, it enhances shell mold strength and improves casting surface finish. Compared to water glass molding, this method delivers superior quality, while replacing ethyl silicate molding can reduce costs and optimize operational conditions.
4. Used in high-energy-density solid-state batteries for electric vehicles, composite architectural decorative materials, artificial marble, and more.
IV. Precautions and Packaging
Packaging: Available in 25L and 200L PE plastic drums, or 1000L IBC drums. (Custom packaging options are available.)
Storage: Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Protect from moisture and water, and keep away from ignition sources and heat.
